Five Leadership Principles at our Core
While you do not need to be a Christian to use our services, the principles outlined below are based on the life and ministry of Jesus Christ and are fundamental to our philosophy and approach. We believe they provide the foundation for effective leadership.
-
Jesus demonstrated ultimate humility everyday. As leaders, we are called to minimize attention on ourselves and elevate others’ needs above our own.
-
Jesus recognized the inherent value of each individual and always treated them with dignity and respect. This is our call as leaders and requires patience and a deeply caring perspective.
-
Jesus taught us there are more important things than the challenges right in front of us. As leaders, we need to keep the ultimate things in life in mind when we make decisions; balancing those with organizational priorities is both an art and science.
-
Jesus consistently met the challenges of life with grace and a consistent demeanor that built trust with those around him. As leaders, we need to understand, and manage, our emotions appropriately and provide a stable environment for those we lead.
-
Jesus spent most of his three-year ministry investing in the development of others. As leaders, we are called to help others grow and develop. This requires a growth mindset and a willingness to walk with people on their development journey.
