About Servant Coaching

At Servant Coaching, our core convictions are simple:

  • Leadership does not have to be complicated or lonely.

  • Targeted leadership development does not have to break the bank.

  • Coaching is one of the best development experiences and needs to be more accessible.

Servant Coaching provides the trusted sounding board, straight talk, and basic tools every leader needs—delivered with humility, relational depth, and a commitment to servant leadership. While our services are available to anyone, we specialize in coaching for Christian leaders, business owners, and executives. We offer a space to integrate proven leadership tools with faith-aligned principles so you can lead effectively and with lasting impact.

  • Our coaching philosophy puts the focus on you. It’s been said, “It’s not that people don’t know what to do, it’s that people don’t do what they know.” Our job is to help empower leaders to make and implement the decisions they know will have the greatest impact on success. This means we ask a lot of questions, listen to understand, and challenge assumptions as we see them. We help you build and implement a plan for growth and leadership maturity. Our coaches are also very knowledgeable of fundamental leadership tools, models, and principles and incorporate these into coaching as appropriate.

  • You should expect to be the focus of the coaching. Through effective questions and active listening, your coach will draw out your perspective, help you identify roadblocks, facilitate problem-solving, and create the framework for effective follow-through. Our coaching always begins with an assessment followed by goal finalization and stakeholder alignment. We then move into weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly coaching that includes specific actions, reflections, and adjustments throughout. Stakeholders are kept in the loop while maintaining strict confidentiality. Coaching is then closed out with a reflection on progress and roadmap for continued growth.

  • Our Free Discovery Call is an opportunity to ask questions and gain clarity. We will look to understand what is driving your interest in coaching and help you discern if coaching is, indeed, the best solution for your situation. This will also provide you the chance to ask questions about our philosophy, our process, and what you can expect overall. There is no expectation of a commitment and no pressure to make a decision before you are ready. A follow-up call and formal proposal will be required to move forward with a coaching engagement.

  • No. While we specialize in integrating the Christian faith with solid leadership principles, that is not a required part of our services. Servant leadership, however, is a core part of how we define effective leadership and, regardless of your faith background, we will lean into this throughout. These principles are laid out on our “Who We Serve” page.

  • As with all of our coaching services, we take the lead from the one being coached. If this is a core part of what you are hoping to get out of coaching, we will lean into it. If there are specific challenges that you want to think about through the lens of your faith, we will help facilitate that. We do not see our job as replacing your pastor or as someone who is discipling you. We are here to help you lead better in the setting you are in.

  • One of our goals is to help make coaching accessible to more people and our pricing reflects that desire. Because each coaching engagement is unique and there are many variables to consider, we cannot provide a specific price for your situation. However, having been in the coaching space and managed coaching programs for large organizations, we are generally going to be 50% lower than standard coaching arrangements, without sacrificing quality or effectiveness.
